Goals

Prove someone else is not using your password elsewhere — without making the phone a second chat door.

Primary

• Website-first login: desktop/laptop at ruezals.chat starts the flow.
• Echo shows pending card: Allow / Deny, or scan the triangle mark when the session is stale.
• Grant token returns to the website poll only — never as phone chat login.
• No billing · no bank tools · no password-change nag on the companion.

Why put the key on the pyramid

• Elsewhere-assurance without SMS or a second account database.
• Attack surface stays on the Bar — phone cannot solo into the house.
• One visual key — finder triangles shared with AskRue™ way-mark / brand face.
• Every hub that redirects to the Bar gets the same highway (portal, mail stamp, lol, wiki Sign-in).
• Narrow product — trust signal only; no bank/billing creep.

Phase framing

• Members must use TOTP when hooked; they need not use Echo.
• Echo App Store / public phone release is not the August 2026 Phase 1 bar.

Success metric

• Website poll gets the grant; phone never holds a chat session token.
• Optional companion: members must use TOTP when hooked; Echo is not required.

Non-goals

• Chat UI on phone · Android-first · redesigning the live pong gate.
• Phone TOTP enroll as the house door (obsolete path in old ASKRUE-MOBILE.md).
• AskRue™ depth → AskRue™ (stop).
